Alliston Friday Family Supper Group

A very special group of friends meet every Friday night for supper in downtown Alliston.  Paulette and Ian Ecker cook the main course from donated food and volunteers provide the rest of the dinner. They serve the home cooked meal to the folks who come; folks struggling to make ends meet.  A few years ago the group invited us to speak about the work we are doing in Kenya.  The Friday Family Supper group soon decided they wanted to help the less fortunate people in Africa.  They started to collect clothing and funds. Every year the amount of funds they have been able to spare from their meager incomes has increased.  This year the group gave a cheque for $1000 for the “Drought Relief Fund”. God bless you all, for caring and giving so generously.
